This policy explains how EnglishHanna (“we”, “Anna”) handles personal data collected through englishhanna.eu and englishhanna.com, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect and why
- Booking form — first name, email, phone number (optional), lesson type and the notes you write. Used to reply to your request and organise lessons. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract.
- Newsletter — email address (and name if provided). Used to send updates and learning content. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.
- E-book purchases — email address and payment confirmation from Stripe or PayPal. Used to deliver your download link and meet accounting duties. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation. We never see or store your card details.
- Free e-books and gifts — a signed, time-limited download link is generated; no account is created.
- Technical data — IP address and request logs processed by our hosting provider for security and delivery of the site.
Service providers
Your data is processed on our behalf by:
- Brevo — transactional email and newsletter
- Stripe and PayPal — payments
- Vercel — website hosting and private file storage
- Cloudflare — DNS, email routing and video storage
Some of these providers are located outside the EU; transfers rely on the safeguards they provide, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
Booking enquiries are kept as long as needed to handle your request and any lessons that follow. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Purchase records are kept for the period required by tax law.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@englishhanna.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
Cookies
This site only uses technical cookies strictly necessary for it to work and for payments to be completed. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.
